All personal data that we obtain from you through our media (web portal, e-mail, forms of communication through the web portal and social networks, learning platform, etc.). While some 85bits information does not require registration of any personally identifiable information, access to some features, services and content requires registration and collection of some of your personal data.

The responsibility for the accuracy of information recorded with 85bits is yours and we rely on it so that you can make use of the resources we offer, as well as to contact you if required.
We collect two types of information:
Information related to the use of the 85bits Learning Platform: Data related to user visits, including hyperlinks visited and their order, date of visit, IP address from where the connection was made, operating system and browser used to access the Platform. When you visit the Platform we may use cookies, which will be notified to you.
Personally identifiable data provided by you when you create an account on the 85bits Platform directly or log in via another authentication platform (such as Google, LinkedIn, Facebook, or others) becoming a subscriber to education services. This includes updates or changes to that information, personal data when you pay for subscriptions or other services, personal information you provide when you participate in surveys or other studies seeking your opinion, as well as personal data provided on mailing lists, public forums and specific content forums, e-mail messages and/or when you participate in 85Bits content, services and events.
To access forums, content, services and events of the 85bits Platform you may be asked for name and email, however it is your responsibility the information published in these media, Therefore we recommend that you do not include personal data or any confidential information of your own or another person as part of the comments you share.
By participating in activities such as courses, webinars, talks, among others, we may collect information related to the teaching process such as requested assignments, grade information, comments, questionnaire responses, surveys and exams.
We may collect biometric data such as images and voice recording of the subscriber as part of recording virtual sessions of courses or other activities.
Used to analyze and create improvements in services and content in terms of searches and usability for our users and subscribers, to analyze performance statistics and features on search behaviors and perform demographic measurements. This information may be stored for statistical and historical purposes.
Personal information that is included in requests for technical support, forums, participation in content, services, events, email lists, emails, comments, questionnaires, surveys and examinations may be stored for use in future communications with subscribers as long as we are legally authorized to use them.
Participation information in content such as courses, and other teaching processes such as requested assignments, grade information, comments, questionnaire responses, surveys and examinations may be stored for statistical purposes, of research and history as well as to provide the certificates of study and academic practice which are applicable in each case.
We do not disclose your personal information unless required by law to do so by an authorized and competent official authority. Very importantly, our storage media is in cloud services, so we are subject to the storage scheme and locations used by our cloud infrastructure providers.
